Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking an EHS Training Manager in Ashburn, VA. You will lead the EHSS training strategy for AFL U.S. Services, ensuring compliant, effective training across all levels including contractors and supervisors.

You will design learning pathways, manage training delivery (instructor-led, virtual, e-learning), and partner with Operations, HR, and EHSS leadership to foster a safety-first culture. Strong OSHA knowledge and LMS experience required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EHSS experience in telecom, utilities, or manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years of safety training program development and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and adult learning principles.
• Experience managing training records and LMS.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the U.S. Services EHSS training strategy.
• Design standardized learning pathways for technicians, supervisors, managers, and contractors.
• Define training requirements for orientation, refresher, and leadership programs.
• Create scalable programs for Wireless, Fiber, Broadband, Data Center, and Corporate Ops.
