Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking an entry-level EHS professional in the U.S. to support routine risk assessments, investigations, inspections, and regulatory compliance.

The role involves coordinating EHS training, maintaining procedures in the EHS Management System, and aiding with emergency drills and safety committees. The ideal candidate has an associate or higher degree in EHS, familiarity with federal and state regulations, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in EHS or related field required; OSHA 30 is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations relevant to EHS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documenting findings and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine workplace safety risk assessments, investigations and inspections.
• Interpret regulatory requirements with assistance and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and manage EHS training activities and track completion.
• Support maintenance of EHS procedures within the EHS Management System.
• Coordinate emergency response teams, drills and preparedness activities.
• Facilitate safety committees and employee engagement programs.
• Contribute to environmental programs including waste management and recycling.
