Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environment Technician to monitor and maintain a safe manufacturing environment. You will perform audits, identify hazards, implement control measures, and train employees on safety procedures.

The role requires 1–2 years of HSE experience, an associate's degree in a technical field, and knowledge of OSHA standards. ISO 14001/18001 exposure is a plus. Salary range generous with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HSE support in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• OSHA 30 hours general industry or CSP preferred.
• Experience with MOC, process safety, and behavioral safety management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine EHS audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and verify implementation.
• Develop and deliver safety training on PPE, hazard communication, and emergency response.
• Lead SBOs and Safety GEMBA walks to drive safety improvements.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
