Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an EHS Technician II to support environmental, health, and safety programs on our manufacturing floor in Alabama. The role collaborates with the EHS Manager and Plant teams to promote a safe, compliant workplace and to perform inspections and training.

You will assist with incident investigations, recordkeeping, PPE management, and annual health exams coordination, while applying its Origami EHS software and following federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in safety.
• Exposure to high-volume manufacturing or assembly environments preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor and assist the EHS Manager and Plant team on identifying and controlling safety hazards.
• Support and enforce EHS policies and applicable regulatory standards.
• Participate in the incident investigation process.
• Keep records of environmental, health & safety-related workplace incidents and propose corrective actions.
• Train associates on environmental, health & safety requirements to ensure compliance.
