Job summary

EnerSys Precision Power Solutions is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Technician to support the EHS Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant manufacturing environment. You will help monitor facility operations, conduct routine inspections, and assist with hazardous waste and environmental programs.

The role requires strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech setting and handle varying schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain compliance and organization of hazardous waste storage areas.
• Collect, label, consolidate and process hazardous waste per EPA/state requirements.
• Collect stormwater samples and assist environmental monitoring activities.
• Respond to chemical spills and assist with cleanup; maintain spill equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS Manager in monitoring facility operations for safe, healthy, and regulatory-compliant conditions.
• Perform routine EHS inspections (ladders, exit lights, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, emergency equipment, hand tools, welding areas, machine guarding).
• Identify and report unsafe conditions to the EHS Manager.
• Assist with contractor safety oversight and site safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and environmental records.
