Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Technician I in Houston to support workplace safety and environmental programs. Under guidance you will monitor practices, conduct inspections, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives at the site.

You will help with training, incident documentation, KPI tracking, waste management, and emergency preparedness while using ERP and MS Office tools to manage data and reporting.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices.
• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (internship/co-op acceptable).
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 10/30 certification and additional training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and other safety regulations.
• Support inspections and hazard assessments to identify risks and unsafe conditions.
• Track safety metrics and assist with data reporting to stakeholders.
