Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is hiring an EHS Technician I in Houston. You will support safety and environmental programs, help ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and assist in inspections, incident investigations, and training.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to use computers, including MS Office and ERP for procurement and EHS data.
• Ability to identify hazards and recognize unsafe conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations.
• Support routine inspections and hazard assessments to identify risks.
• Track safety metrics and assist with data reporting to stakeholders.
• Assist with incident investigations and documenting findings.
• Help coordinate and deliver basic safety training, including new hire orientation.
• Maintain safety records and assist with report preparation.
• Support waste management, SPCC, and environmental compliance activities.
• Assist with emergency preparedness planning and drills.
• Procure and maintain safety equipment, manage PPE stock.
