Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Technician I to support workplace safety and environmental programs at our Houston area facility. The role involves assisting in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and related regulations, performing inspections, and helping drive continuous safety improvements.

This entry-level position requires a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10/30 preferred, and 0–2 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices.
Ability to use computers, including MS Office suite, ERP for procurement and other EHS specific software.
Ability to identify hazards and recognize unsafe conditions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
Support routine workplace inspections and hazard assessments to identify risks.
Support data collection, reporting and communication of safety metrics to stakeholders.
Assist with incident investigations, including documenting findings and root-cause analysis.
