EHS Support

Location: Dallas/Lancaster, TX

Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

Assignment Type: Temporary-to-HireContract Duration: Approximately 6 months, with the potential for extension and evaluation for long-term placementWork

Environment: Onsite – Warehouse/Distribution

Schedule Monday–Friday- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM- Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized EHS Support Specialist to assist with Environmental, Health & Safety operations in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

This position will support daily EHS activities, site readiness initiatives, safety compliance, audits, documentation, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working with both EHS and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support site readiness initiatives, including safety compliance and required documentation
• Assist with internal and external EHS audits
• Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and safety documentation
• Provide administrative support to the EHS team
• Track safety metrics, incidents, corrective actions, and follow-up items
• Help ensure safety documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date
• Reinforce company safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain EHS standards
• Assist with additional safety and compliance initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in EHS, workplace safety, compliance, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment is a plus
