Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA seeks an experienced Occupational, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to lead, develop and integrate our EHS strategy, shaping safety culture and supporting site growth.

You will drive initiatives to ensure a safe, sustainable workplace, embedding Boeing values—Safety and Quality, People Focus, Trust, Ownership, and Innovation—and lead investigations, training, and continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety.
• 3+ years' experience leading a team or project.
• 3+ years implementing or managing an EHS management system.
• 3+ years influencing and building relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with site leadership to embed EHS strategies in operations and planning.
• Develop and sustain programs for injury and incident prevention and safety excellence.
• Implement corrective actions using cross-functional approaches.
• Drive compliance with legal, regulatory and Boeing requirements.
• Identify and drive key EHS initiatives with lean processes.
• Support projects to anticipate and control hazards across activities.
• Ensure EHS Management System elements meet regulations and Boeing standards.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Guide management to improve safety leadership and local workplace culture.
• Communicate EHS metrics and regulatory status to teams and leadership.
• Support site audits, inspections and regulatory reviews.
• Maintain EHS documentation and records per regulations.
• Provide EHS training to ensure regulatory and company requirements.
