Job summary

American Regent is seeking an EHS Sr. Specialist to implement and maintain EHS programs in an FDA-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

You will identify and implement strategies addressing environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, safety and chemical regulations, plus filings at federal, state, and local levels. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, auditing systems to ISO 14001/45001, managing incident prevention, training, SDS processes, and maintenance of PPE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical or life science, engineering, safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
• CSP or CIH certification preferred.
• Familiar with EHS regulations and ISO standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Project, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS programs to meet ISO, OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Audit EHS management systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead safety inspections across Ohio sites and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop risk assessments and hazard analyses for chemical and workplace safety.
• Support incident management, training, SDS review, and PPE programs.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and oversee EHS committee activities.
