Edwards Vacuum in Buffalo, NY is seeking an EHS Specialist to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, industry standards, and company policies. You will act as the SME, guiding employees, contractors, suppliers, and visitors on EHS matters across the new manufacturing facility.

The role covers risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety culture and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in EHS roles, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with risk assessments and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations across the facility.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for manufacturing processes.
• Lead investigations of EHS incidents and track corrective actions.
• Plan and execute EHS audits and inspections and report findings.
