Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety programs, audits, and trainings at sites in Fresno, CA. You will partner with teams to drive a culture of safety and operational excellence, ensuring incidents are investigated and risk is minimized.

Ideal candidates have EHS experience or a related Bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and the ability to influence safety behaviors across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• OSHA regulations knowledge, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or a relevant degree / 6 months safety-related experience at Amazon.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Advise and partner with associates and leadership to improve safety practices.
