A global packaging leader located in Mundelein, Illinois, is seeking an EHS Manager to develop and oversee environmental, health, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in EHS or a related field, possess at least 2 years of EHS experience, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include managing EHS programs, conducting audits, and facilitating training to maintain compliance and ensure a strong safety culture in a facility of 150-200 employees. Qualifications
2+ years’ experience or involvement in EHS.
Relevant manufacturing experience with Project Management Leadership.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and administer facility EHS programs.
Lead the development of Machine Guarding improvement projects.
Conduct EHS inspections and compliance assessments.
Support facility incident investigation process.
Provide EHS training and maintain compliance records.
