Job summary

A global packaging leader located in Mundelein, Illinois, is seeking an EHS Manager to develop and oversee environmental, health, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in EHS or a related field, possess at least 2 years of EHS experience, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include managing EHS programs, conducting audits, and facilitating training to maintain compliance and ensure a strong safety culture in a facility of 150-200 employees. Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience or involvement in EHS.
• Relevant manufacturing experience with Project Management Leadership.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer facility EHS programs.
• Lead the development of Machine Guarding improvement projects.
• Conduct EHS inspections and compliance assessments.
• Support facility incident investigation process.
• Provide EHS training and maintain compliance records.
