Job summary

Boeing Tulsa site is hiring for an Environmental Health and Safety role within the EHS team. The successful candidate will develop and implement health and safety programs, conduct investigations, and provide training to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS, risk assessment, audits, and the ability to handle shift variability including evenings and weekends. Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• Experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits.
• Shift will be variable including availability on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes.
• Drive thorough investigations for all incidents and accidents, develop effective root cause analysis and countermeasures, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
• Develops and provides training and instructions.
• Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations.
• Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections.
• Plans and conducts health and safety audits.
