Job summary

Pfeiffer Vacuum Nashua Service Center is seeking an EHS Specialist with 2–4 years of relevant experience to implement, maintain, and continuously improve Environmental, Health & Safety programs. You will work with site leadership to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and sustain ISO 14001:2015 EMS.

You will manage inspections, incidents, and audits, and help develop training, records, and environmental reporting while promoting a proactive safety culture at the Nashua site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of professional EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, service, or technical environment.
• Experience supporting OSHA/EPA compliance, environmental programs, inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, and EHS training preferred.
• Experience with ISO 14001 or another environmental management system preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and consistent execution of company EHS policies, programs, procedures, and standards at the Nashua Service Center.
• Conduct routine safety, environmental, and compliance inspections; document findings and track corrective actions to closure.
• Identify workplace hazards and unsafe conditions; work with leadership to implement corrective actions.
• Assist with OSHA, EPA, state, and local EHS requirements and escalate significant concerns to EHS leadership.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, logs, inspections, and documentation in an audit-ready manner.
• Assist with chemical inventories, SDS management, hazardous materials requirements, and environmental reporting.
• Support hazardous and universal waste management, labeling, accumulation-area inspections, vendor coordination, and shipment documentation.
• Support stormwater, air, wastewater, spill prevention, and other environmental programs.
