Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking an EHS Specialist in Minnesota to evaluate facilities for hazards and maintain a safe, healthy work environment. Training will be provided as part of joining the Consulting Services group.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting sampling and testing, and supporting safety initiatives across client sites. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with 1–2 years of EHS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years professional Environmental Health and Safety experience preferred.
• Safety experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant setting preferred.
• Be a team player with the ability to manage multiple projects; self-motivated and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Work with client to ensure compliance with facility environmental, health, and safety policies and other applicable regulatory agencies.
• Conduct industrial hygiene sampling, such as noise dosimetry and air monitoring.
• Schedule and conduct respirator fit testing for employees.
• Assist with process hazard analysis and risk analysis assessments.
• Conduct environmental, health, and safety training.
• Coordinate sitewide safety initiatives.
• Work with business to audit daily work permits and report findings to supervisors.
• Complete ergonomic assessments of process tasks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline
