Pro Staff in Paris, KY seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental programs at our facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career EHS professional looking to expand their experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, environmental compliance, and risk management.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in EHS or related field, 1–2 years of EHS experience, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field (completed or in progress).
• 1–2 years of EHS experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct hazard assessments, risk evaluations, and corrective action tracking.
• Assist with safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Deliver employee safety training and support safety awareness initiatives.
• Participate in environmental compliance programs, including wastewater, air, waste, stormwater, and related reporting activities.
• Assist with emergency response planning and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support contractor safety programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe workplace.
