Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) in Ohio. You will lead safety audits, investigate incidents, and assess risks to prevent injuries while delivering engaging training and promoting a proactive culture.

You will serve as a safety advocate, partner with leadership, and support emergency response to ensure a safe work environment. The role requires a background in EHS or related experience, OSHA knowledge, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor's degree in EHS-related background OR 6 months safety experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build partnerships across levels of the organization.
