Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC is seeking an EHS&S Specialist to drive environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs at our large-scale medical manufacturing facility. You will partner with operations, engineering, and facilities to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and strengthen a culture of safety.

You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and ISO 14001/45001 adherence, contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, RCRA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments and safety investigations.
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Responsabilités

• Support EHS programs across the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, PPE evaluations, and safety inspections.
• Identify hazards via audits and Gemba walks and drive corrective actions.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and facilities to improve safety.
• Support waste management activities and regulatory documentation.
• Contribute to ISO 14001/45001 audits and compliance.
