Job summary

The role requires an RN licensed in North Carolina, 3+ years of clinical nursing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina is required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• OH Certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in computer programs.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Physically able to respond in emergencies.
• Understand safety and quality instructions and read work instructions.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the site's occupational health program to address workplace health risks and support employee wellbeing.
• Provide immediate care and assessment for workplace injuries and illnesses, including coordinating emergency medical response efforts.
• Manage occupational health surveillance programs, including hearing conservation, respiratory monitoring, and exposure management.
• Maintain confidential occupational health records and ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met.
• Coordinate case management with healthcare providers, HR, managers, and insurers to support timely return-to-work outcomes.
• Deliver health-related counseling, education, and wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with EHS to identify health hazards and implement risk reduction strategies.
• Support on-site drug testing programs and follow-up activities as appropriate.
• Conduct basic ergonomic assessments and partner with EHS to reduce musculoskeletal injury risks.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with external occupational health physicians and providers.
• Maintain required certifications and continuing education in occupational health.
• Support compliance with quality standards, SOPs, cGMP, and 6S practices.
