Quaker Houghton is seeking an EHS Specialist to drive environmental, health and safety performance across the Detroit region. You will collaborate with Operations, Fluidcare and Commercial leadership to advance the EHS culture of excellence and to execute regulatory compliance, policy development and training strategies.

The role emphasizes regional and local EHS management system implementation, incident prevention, and safety campaigns aimed at world-class performance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years in environmental, health and safety with emphasis on safety.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Strong regulatory knowledge for EPA, OSHA and state agencies.
• Familiar with ISO 14001/45001 and OSHA Process Safety Management standards.
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs and campaigns.

• Develop and implement region-specific EHS management systems.
• Lead safety program improvements to world-class standards.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance, policy development and training.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analyses and corrective actions.
