Job summary

Hendrickson in Mount Vernon, Missouri is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to support the implementation of EHS policies and programs within the Hendrickson Specialty Products Group.

You will lead safety initiatives, manage incident investigations, drive zero-incident goals, and coordinate with site leadership to maintain OSHA VPP alignment while monitoring industrial hygiene and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience implementing health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Some environmental compliance experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall safety direction and assistance to the site to assure the safety and health of Hendrickson associates.
• Lead incident investigations and follow-up with completion of corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain safety dashboards and track safety participation.
• Manage industrial hygiene issues and safety audits with follow-up.
• Assist in Workers' Compensation case management and participate in Safety Excellence Team.
