Job summary

Givaudan in Florence, KY is seeking an EHS Specialist I to support internal and external regulatory compliance under the EHS Manager. This on-site role focuses on incident investigations, permitting submissions, and developing EHS trainings for the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Engineering, or EHS field.
• At least 1 year of working experience in similar EHS roles.
• Appropriate country EHS qualification/certifications
• Knowledge of environmental regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support Management and operations staff for internal/external regulatory compliance
• Lead incident, injury and complaint investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented
• Evaluate regulatory permitting requirements and submit permit applications to applicable agencies
• Develop compliance training and documentation and conduct EHS trainings
• Organize and participate in regular site safety inspections with department/area owners; report findings and follow up their correction/prevention
• Follow up all audits findings; and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
• Help on risk assessment and provide solutions to minimize risks
