Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC in Carrollton, GA seeks an Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to support compliance and risk reduction across manufacturing areas. You will conduct inspections, coordinate training, and assist with root cause analysis of incidents and environmental events.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, with ASP/GSP licenses preferred and 0–4 years of industrial health and safety experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Specialized Degree in health, safety and environmental fields is required.
• Licenses/Certificates include GSP and ASP.
• 0-2 years of experience in industrial health, safety or environmental activities.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and control safety and environmental hazards via risk assessments and inspections.
• Maintain OSHA and environmental compliance programs aligned with EHS policies.
• Coordinate and track required health, safety and environmental training and audits.
• Provide industrial hygiene support including noise and chemical exposure evaluation.
• Support development and deployment of EHS programs consistent with standards.
