Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks an experienced EHS Specialist to lead environmental, health, and safety programs in support of US operations. You will drive regulatory compliance, risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement with operations, quality, and facilities teams to protect employees and the environment.

The role emphasizes training, documentation, and regulatory record-keeping, with a focus on OSHA/EPA requirements, vendor and contractor safety, and site-specific risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, chemical, or life science industries.
• Preferred: 6+ years of EHS compliance experience in chemical, specialty chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong understanding of US EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, TSCA/REACH, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act) and risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs in compliance with US regulations and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses; lead corrective action plans and verify closure.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and deliver management reports; maintain documentation and training records.
• Lead US-centric EHS training and safety onboarding for employees and contractors.
