Job summary

Bradsby Group in Woodland, CA seeks an experienced EHS Specialist to implement and oversee environmental, health and safety programs at the facility. The role requires strong OSHA knowledge, field safety auditing, and hazard identification in a heavy industrial setting.

You will manage safety trainings, reports, and compliance with California air and water regulations, partnering with corporate EH&S to align with company expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field.
• At least five years of practical safety experience in heavy industrial or power plant ops.
• Experience with safety management systems (OHSAS18001, ANSI Z10) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of safety/IH regulations.
• CSP or CIH certification preferred.
• Knowledge of California OSHA rules for air and water.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, administer, and maintain safety and industrial hygiene programs, policies, and procedures.
• Improve and expand programs by soliciting feedback from customers.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental reports, training, and presentations.
• Consult with corporate EH&S to ensure consistency with company expectations.
• Conduct, monitor and follow up on site safety and environmental assessments.
• Work with project site management to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with company expectations.

Job Summary

This position will support the implementation and oversight of environmental, safety and health programs and policies at the facility. Experience in industrial safety, training, field/site safety auditing, safety/IH project management, and hazard identification and control is required. The environmental piece is of most importance and needs someone that is well versed in OSHA, knowing both air and water.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field (Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, etc.)
• At least five years of practical experience in the field of safety for heavy industrial or power plant operations (schoolwork, internships, and co-ops are not to be included in the experience calculation)
• Experience with safety management systems (OHSAS18001, ANSI Z10) is preferred
• Working proficiency of Microsoft Office products. Expert knowledge of occupational safety and industrial hygiene regulations
• CSP or CIH certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of OSHA specification in California pertaining to air and water
