Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services seeks an EHS Specialist for a client site in Garrett, IN. This hands-on role on the production floor partners with operations to strengthen safety culture.

Recent graduates are welcomed; a degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred. OSHA knowledge and training delivery skills support ISO 14001/45001 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Science, or a related technical field.
• Extensive relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, from coursework, internships, or work experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, and confidence leading training sessions.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, people-first approach and the willingness to be visible and engaged on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain data for OSHA compliance and recordkeeping.
• Manage workers' compensation cases and related follow-up.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training programs.
• Create and share safety and environmental communications across the site.
• Represent the facility in corporate and global health and safety initiatives.
• Handle safety reporting and help implement and maintain ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) management systems.
• Conduct audits and floor walks, and drive corrective actions and improvement projects.

Pro Resources is seeking an EHS Specialist for a client in Garrett, IN. This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role, not a desk job. You'll work directly with operations teams to build a strong safety culture. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Shift and Compensation

Monday-Friday 8-4:30 PM or 7-3:30 PM

Compensation is from 55,000 USD to 75,000 USD per year

Job Duties
