Job summary

REELSAFE SAFETY LLC in Fremont, CA is seeking a driven EHS Specialist to champion workplace safety, environmental compliance, and health initiatives across our growing organization. You will develop programs, conduct inspections, and lead training to protect workers and strengthen our safety culture.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety (or related field), 2+ years of EHS experience, and solid knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 2+ years in an EHS Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
• Excellent communication and training facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining EHS management systems and documentation.
• CSP, CHMM or other EHS certification is a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures per regs.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA standards including Cal/OSHA.
• Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks to employees at all levels.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
• Partner with operations and management teams to promote a proactive safety culture.

• Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks to employees at all levels
• Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation
