Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support two operations. This field-focused role emphasizes building relationships with employees and supervisors while driving safety and environmental compliance.

You'll lead EHS compliance activities across both locations, conduct field inspections, identify hazards, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions to completion, while maintaining safety programs, training records, and required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in chemical, mining, industrial minerals, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction materials, utilities, or a similar industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting inspections, recognizing hazards, investigating incidents and managing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with environmental programs involving stormwater, waste, and chemical management.
• Experience and willingness to work in outdoor industrial environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.

• Serve as a key point of contact during regulatory inspections and follow up on findings and corrective actions.
