BGF Industries, Inc, Altavista, Virginia, seeks an energetic EHS Specialist to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives on a manufacturing floor. You will drive safety culture, conduct audits, train employees, and ensure compliance with EPA/DEQ programs while supporting continuous improvement across operations.
The role includes coordinating EHS programs, updating Job Safety Analyses, and maintaining SDS and permit records.

As an EHS Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and advancing BGF’s environmental, health, and safety initiatives across manufacturing operations.
BGF Industries – Altavista, Virginia
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: (Four-year degree in science or a related discipline with 4 plus years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment). Satisfactorily complete industrial truck licensing requirements. Be able to work on any shift as needed. Have 20/40 corrected eyesight.
