Job summary

BD is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Site Leader (JG5) to drive strategic and operational EH&S programs across the site, ensuring full regulatory compliance and robust safety culture.

The role serves as the senior EH&S authority, partnering with leadership to integrate EH&S into business strategy, with emphasis on injury prevention, environmental stewardship, and operational resilience. Leadership of the EH&S organization and site governance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and governance for all site EH&S programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and BD policies.
• Lead and develop the site EH&S organization, including succession planning and capability development.
• Establish and execute site EH&S strategy and multi-year improvement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead investigations of EH&S incidents and regulatory findings with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
