Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an EHS Site Leader to drive day-to-day safety leadership at our Watertown site. You will partner with local leadership to implement EHS procedures, conduct assessments, and develop action plans to improve safety performance and environmental controls.

The role requires 3–5 years in EHS management within manufacturing, a BS in a related field, and CSP/OHST preferred. You will lead training, audits, and records management, with travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in EHS management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Must have mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and analytical skillset.
• Professional certifications: CSP, OHST, or similar preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Federal/State regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work in teams and build relationships with leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong visible daily presence in functional work areas to promote safe behaviors.
• Guide and direct EHS programs at employee, supervisor, and management levels.
• Evaluate facility EHS conditions, identify risks, and develop action plans.
• Perform incident investigations and assist in corrective actions.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and recommend preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver training on EHS programs, including new employee orientation.
• Analyze and maintain EHS records and metrics using Gensuite.
• Lead worker injury management as part of workers' comp program.
• Manage hazardous waste and coordinate disposal.
• Chair safety committees/councils.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
