Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Appleton, WI or Eden Prairie, MN, seeks Senior Manager – Environmental Health and Safety to lead U.S. environmental compliance, support health and safety programs, audits, and Process Safety Management (PSM).

The role partners with plant operations to ensure regulatory adherence for ammonia refrigeration, emissions, waste, and reporting while guiding environmental initiatives and continuous improvement across U.S. facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• Minimum seven years of experience in environmental compliance or EHS roles in U.S. manufacturing.
• Master’s Degree or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. environmental compliance programs and audits.
• Manage ammonia refrigeration system compliance and PSM programs.
• Develop and maintain the U.S. environmental management system.
• Coordinate with site safety managers and environmental committee.
• Prepare regulatory communications and engage with authorities.
