Job summary

McKesson is seeking an Environmental Health, Safety & Security Specialist to reduce risk, protect people and assets, and ensure regulatory compliance across the distribution center. This individual will implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and lead security initiatives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of OSHA/EPA/DOT/FDA/DEA regulations, and strong incident investigation and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring and managing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA).
• Ability to conduct incident investigations and determine root causes.
• Proven project management skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven decision making.
• Experience communicating across levels of the organization and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the site and Global Security & Safety to align with standards and protocols.
• Oversee compliance with GSS policies and SOPs at site level.
• Lead initiatives to implement safety and security protocols at DC operations.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans from metric data and incident tracking.
• Track Safety Performance Index and develop action plans to address deficiencies.
• Drive site safety culture through audits and safety committees.
