Job summary

1X in Hayward is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of environmental health, safety, and physical security programs. This role involves conducting inspections, compliance tracking, and ensuring regulatory adherence while working closely with Manufacturing and HR teams. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2–5 years' experience in EHS. The position offers benefits including health insurance and a competitive salary range of $86,000 to $110,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in EHS, manufacturing safety, or operational compliance.
• Experience with inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the EHS & Security Lead in maintaining safety programs.
• Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Maintain EHS and security records, permits, and certifications.

Skills

Strong organizational skills

Attention to detail

Working knowledge of OSHA / Cal/OSHA standards

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field
