Job summary

AI Fire is seeking a proactive Safety Specialist to join its Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team. This role supports safety initiatives across regions, conducts jobsite inspections, delivers training, and collaborates with field technicians and management to strengthen safety culture.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of safety experience in construction, OSHA 30-Hour certification, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of safety experience in construction, skilled trades, or a related industry.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Construction and/or General Industry).
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and cultivate a strong safety culture within assigned districts and regions.
• Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs, including OSHA-related training.
• Perform jobsite inspections, audits, and evaluations to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Support safety records and EHS systems, including OSHA logs and incident files.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to operations teams regarding safe work practices.
• Travel regionally up to 50% of the time and assist with various safety initiatives.
