Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc. seeks a Safety Coordinator for our Waxahachie plant to support Environmental Health & Safety initiatives. You will manage KPI programs, deliver training, and drive corrective actions to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

Reporting to the EH&S Manager, you will develop dashboards, perform risk assessments, lead investigations, and coach teams on best practices. A 3–5 year manufacturing EHS background and OSHA knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing.
• Experience administering EHS programs, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Proficient in OSHA/regulatory compliance and incident investigation methodologies.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage EHS KPIs and compliance programs with data-driven reporting.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct hazard assessments, risk evaluations, and safety training.
• Administer safety audits, inspections, and track corrective actions.
• Coach employees on proper reporting and safety procedures.
• Develop risk reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement.
