Job summary

Owens Corning in Waxahachie, Texas seeks an Environment, Health, and Safety Leader to drive world-class safety and environmental programs on the plant floor. You will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of critical safety processes to achieve zero injuries and zero incidents.

You will report to the Plant Leader and manage three direct reports, guiding plant leadership development and training initiatives while sustaining Owens Corning’s safety standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S, industrial hygiene, engineering, science or equivalent.
• Six to eight years of progressive manufacturing safety experience preferred.
• Certified CSP preferred.
• Experience in union environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and environmental programs to achieve zero-injury and zero-NOV goals.
• Build a safety culture among all plant employees and engage leadership.
• Develop and implement training programs with plant personnel.
