Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to drive safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance. This role partners with plant management to foster a safe, healthy workplace and reports to the Safety Manager.

Primary duties include leading safety meetings, training supervisors, maintaining safety metrics, and implementing safe operating procedures across equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety science or related field.
• Read, write, and speak proficiently in English.
• 3+ years of plant safety experience.
• Certifications preferred: CSP; CIH; ASP; GSP.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA, and workers' comp regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead plant safety meetings with management.
• Train supervisors to run safety meetings.
• Maintain and update plant safety metrics.
• Develop and implement safe equipment operating techniques with Maintenance.
• Lead onboarding for employees and subcontractors.
• Ensure SDS program and hazard communications are maintained.
