Qualifications

• Hazardous Materials Technician training (24-hour) preferred (or obtain training within 1 year of hiring).
• DOT/IATA Dangerous Goods training preferred (or obtain training within 1 year of hiring).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform day-to-day safety program operations with guidance.
• Respond to safety questions from stakeholders and assist leaders with reports.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for staff in clinical and research areas.
• Investigate hazards and injuries, perform root cause analyses, and prepare detailed reports.
