UCSF Health, AG seeks a seasoned Environmental Health & Safety leader to oversee EOC, fire and life safety, hazmat programs, and waste management. You will coordinate system testing, inventory management, and regulatory readiness, collaborating with Infection Prevention, Facilities, and local authorities.

The role requires a strong regulatory background, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while reporting to the Safety Officer. San Francisco Bay-area presence preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience.
• Thorough knowledge of EOC program areas including fire and life safety, hazmat, and infection prevention.
• In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal regs (TJC, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, EPA, CDPH).
• Strong communication to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Lead EH&S program areas and coordinate testing for fire alarms and suppression systems.
• Oversee hazmat inventory, storage practices, and hazardous waste management.
• Review inspection reports, coordinate internal audits, and support regulatory surveys (Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, Cal/OSHA).
• Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance, work independently, and report to Safety Officer.
