Job summary

ICL Group is offering an EHSS Intern position in Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia for Summer 2027. The role involves environmental, health, safety, emergency response and security tasks under supervision of EHSS staff.

You'll work with operators, maintenance, plant leadership, and corporate support. Expected duties include training delivery, incident drills, inspections, waste labeling, JHA maintenance, and equipment calibration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Safety Studies, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or related field.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year of university study.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EHS record keeping.
• Develop and deliver EHS training.
• Participate in emergency drills.
• Perform routine safety and environmental inspections.
• Label waste containers for disposal.
• Maintain and update the JHA program.
• Participate in learning team investigations.
• Perform equipment calibrations.
