Job summary

Bunge North America is offering a Safety Internship Program designed to provide exposure to safety management across its crush/refine, packaging, and grain elevator facilities. You may be placed at one of our sites with relocation for the internship required.

During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in safety practices, develop a strong safety culture, and build a foundation for your career in the safety field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or Certificate.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in standard PC applications
• Ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Support safety culture and improvement efforts on site projects.
• Develop training material and update procedures and JHAs.
• Conduct PPE and confined space hazard assessments and review LOTO permits.
• Track proactive and reactive metrics and perform gap analyses.
• Audit processes and generate corrective-action reports.
• Travel to other Bunge facilities for development as needed.
