Qualifications

• Must be a sophomore and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field during the internship.
• Overall GPA at least 3.0 and in good academic standing.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard communication (HAZCOM) assessments, document observations and take appropriate actions.
• Perform confined space reassessments, update space documentation and communication/signage.
• Perform area/task-specific hazard assessments to drive EHS&S improvements.
• Assist with ionizing radiation inspections.
