Job summary

CRH is seeking an EHS Coordinator at our Castroville, TX plant to partner with operations on safety, environmental, and health initiatives. You will guide management, identify hazards, and coach teams to maintain compliant, safe workplaces.

This role emphasizes hands-on training and continuous improvement across our facilities. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in EHS, strong OSHA/regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication skills, with a background in manufacturing and a degree in EHS,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in EHS/manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
• Excellent communication across departments to facilitate execution.
• Knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to management and staff on safety behaviors and conditions.
• Investigate incidents and establish corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Area EHS Manager to keep programs updated and tracked.
• Deliver health and safety training and onboarding training.
• Review plans for new machinery to ensure safety compliance.
• Develop safe operating procedures and share best practices across facilities.
• Procure PPE and safety supplies for tasks and activities.
• Support Safety Action Teams and Train the Trainer initiatives.
