Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking an EHS Safety Engineer in Austin, TX. The role focuses on conducting safety audits, investigations, and training to uphold regulatory compliance and company policies, while liaising with customers and vendors on safety expectations.

Requirements include 3+ years in safety, an associate degree in electronics/engineering or military equivalent, and OSHA/COHE/LOTO certifications. The position offers full benefits and a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a safety role (Field Service Engineer or Equipment Technician)
• Experience in manufacturing, lab, plant or cleanroom environments
• OSHA safety certifications and/or COHE/LOTO training

Responsibilities

• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and safety management at customer sites.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training sessions and present safety information to employees and stakeholders.
• Communicate EHS performance metrics and updates in customer meetings.
• Liaise between clients, vendors, and internal teams on safety topics.
• Prepare and present safety reports; handle hazardous materials appropriately.
