Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform essential functions.
• 5 years safety experience in an industrial setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Safety (OSHA) and Environmental statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect locations to analyze safety and environmental programs and identify problem areas; recommend changes and PPE.
• Develop and promote safety and environmental policies/programs for all employees.
• Coordinate Industrial Hygiene sampling requirements.
• Investigate accidents to determine corrective action and prevention plans.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA/EPD compliance and coordinate with legal, ops and engineering departments.
• Schedule safety/environmental training and ensure completion of required Gulfstream training.
• Liaise with Six Sigma/Lean Groups during implementation projects.
• Coordinate audits and provide reports with corrective actions.
