Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Occupational Health and Safety, or Safety Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical work (low/medium voltage) and/or construction.
• Strong organizational and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the personal and/or team implementation of safety initiatives and programs.
• Promote safety culture and lead programs to improve overall safety.
• Assist with maintaining and reporting EHS metrics and records for the Electrical Reliability Services Business.
• Assist with safety training, hazard assessments, and audits.
• Assist with OSHA records and logs as required.
• Provide site support for safety issues and problems.
• Facilitate and participate in Safety Committees.
• Oversee Fleet Safety program including incident management and driver safety initiatives.
• Monitor environmental impacts per Vertiv policy and regulations.
• Develop and review safety plans and procedures for adequacy and consistency.
• Interface with all levels of the organization.
• Conduct accident investigations and apply improvements.
• Leverage NFPA 70E knowledge in daily safety operations.
• Collaborate with Workers' Compensation program.
