The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety, with at least 5 years of relevant manufacturing EHS management experience or over 8 years without a degree, alongside knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.

Environmental, Health, Safety & Security Engineer

Type: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Manage EHSS budget
• Represent facility on Global EHSS Council
• Manage EHSS through ISO-based management platform and reporting tools
• Perform routine tasks such as project safety plans, job hazard analyses, incident investigations, workplace observations and ensuring safety equipment is maintained
• Develop, implement and monitor safety initiatives
• Identify, develop and conduct required EHSS trainings
• Manage worker's compensation claim process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety related field strongly preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing EHS management experience with degree
• 8+ years of manufacturing EHS management experience with no degree
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
• Knowledge and current understanding of all applicable regulations including federal, state and local laws and standards (US EPA, TDEC, DOT, TOSHA, etc.)
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations to ensure compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• ISO 14001 and 45001 experience
